Hanging in the mall with NSYNC

Last night I had a dream that I was hanging out at a mall with the members of NSYNC. Well, the members minus Justin Timberlake. Mostly, I hung out with Joey Fatone, Lance Bass and Chris Kirkpatrick. The mall was really crowded and I had to run around a lot for some unknown reason. In the basement of the mall, the band members had built a jungle gym of sorts with a cast iron balance beam above a mud pit. The members would be chest deep in the muddy water next to the balance beam to catch you if you fell. You were supposed to do this strange sashay on the beam. My sister was there and she was really good at it, but she fell on purpose to get caught by JC.

I kept having to run from the basement to the first floor and I had to go a certain route between the two places. Near the end of the dream, I wanted to tell them that the whole reason we were friends was because I had dreamt long ago that we were. Things kept coming up - obstacles to telling them about my dreams. Finally I got to tell them, and even though I was trying not to make it sound creepy, it totally came off that way. In the end they seemed to just sum it up to me being socially awkward. Heh.

As a side note, on one of my trips to the basement I came across a broken old-fashioned milk bottle and (yes I know this is weird, but maybe it is because of all the news stories recently about similar instances) shoved it down my pants. When I showed it to Lance, he went nuts and was telling me how it was this rare bottle and that even broken it was worth a lot of money.

I know there was more odd stuff to this dream, but as usual, most of them have faded throughout the morning.

Dame Maggie Smith Guides Me Through the World of the Rich

Recently I haven't had many celebrity dreams. I started taking a prescription allergy medication and for a while I was having dreams unlike any I had had before. Not bad, but different. And I seemed to forget them sooner than usual.

Finally, last night I had a memorable celebrity dream.

In the dream I had just moved in to a mansion to live with a young couple and extended family. The young couple had a son. The son was about 2 years old and was sickly. The parents had hired all kinds of people to take care of the child - everyone from personal nurse maid to a resident clown. Everyone wore ornate garments in pastel colors, including the clown. I don't know why I was there, but Maggie Smith was showing me around and the rules of the house. There were no windows on the 1st floor, but when you went up to the second floor, there were huge windows stretching from floor to ceiling on all four walls. It was a rule of the house that when you went upstairs, you had to take a small flag made of silver threads and wave it at the sun from every window or it would be bad luck.

I must have been hot because at the end of the dream (I was wearing my plush fleece bunny-suit PJs, so...) because there were these big, taller than me, mounds of snow at the bottom of the staircase leading upstairs and Maggie Smith and I both hugged a mound of snow. The cold snow felt so good. I wanted to ask her if she had ever made a snow angel, but I thought it might be a silly thing to ask a proper rich lady like her.
